Four of our volunteers went down to Candu in the Transkei in order to help the community with fresh water. Due to the drought they needed water for drinking, domestic and agricultural use. Foundations were laid and three tanks were installed and connected to the borehole. Pipes were then installed in order for the water to be distributed were necessary. The community we’re very grateful and the volunteers had a number of local people coming and thanking them while doing the work.
