Homework clubs are run at our centres. The centres offer a space which is conducive to doing homework and studying – good lighting with desks and chairs. Many of the children around our centres live in one roomed informal settlements with little space and noisy environment.
When available a tutor will be present to assist with the homework. Lamontville centre has a computer available with limited internet access. Children do research on their projects. The centres have also become a space for youth that are doing tertiary studies to come and study. Students from privileged schools have offered help with extra maths lessons at the centre.
