Mariannhill Good News Centre
The Mariannhiil Good News Centre has been operating since June 2007. A home was purchase by the COP Trust with the blessing and encouragement of the surrounding community. In 2008 the home was reconstructed as a Community Centre with funding from Altech Autopage.
The community has set up sustainable and valuable services from the Good News Centre. There is an active crèche every day of the week. A sponsored meal to each child is provided from the Centre. There is a ‘Gogo’s (Zulu word for granny) coffee’ morning once a week supporting the elderly in the area. There are church services every Sunday and youth groups and Bible classes in the week. The Good News Centre in Mariannhill has for 7 years been Good News to the community it services.
