Cooking courses are held at a regular basis at our centres. The six week cooking course aims to teach basic cooking skills. The attendees are also introduced to a variety of kitchen appliances and their uses. The course covers kitchen safety, sanitation, table setting etiquette and the proper methods for storing, thawing, and reheating foods.
After completing the course students will leave with knowing how to cook basic family meals. The aim of the course is to skill people in the community that are looking for employment in housekeeping. The skills learnt give them the confidence and boost they need knowing that they are more equipped for the applied job.
